When Metrix prepared to open its new showroom in Parnell, the team faced the challenge of finding a flooring solution that could match the premium look of a high-end environment while standing up to years of daily use.

ALPS Contractors specified Flowfast SRQ, which was selected due to its seamless finish, decorative appearance and excellent durability. The quartz system provided a modern, high-end look that worked perfectly alongside the showroom's bathroom displays while also delivering the practical benefits required in a commercial retail environment.

A key advantage of the Flowfast system is its rapid curing technology. This allowed installation to move quickly, minimising downtime during the critical final stages of the fit-out, an important consideration when timelines are tight and every day of delay has a cost.

Three to four years on, Flowfast SRQ continues to perform on both fronts. A recent site visit confirmed what the client had observed all along: the floor remains in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of wear despite consistent daily foot traffic.
