We are pleased to announce that Flowcrete Australia will be exhibiting at foodpro 2020, which is taking place from 5-8th July 2020 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Every three years, experts in the food and beverage industry gather together at foodpro to experience first hand the latest in innovation and technology.  The event attracts attendees from across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific who are involved in all facets of food and beverage processing, packaging and manufacturing.  foodpro is the go-to event to learn about the latest industry technology, trends, innovations and ideas.

Team Build 2019 - The Haggle...

Every year the team from Flowcrete Australia get together from across the country for training and team-building activities. 2019 was the year of The Haggle...

The impressive crew at Hidden Door developed a fun (and slightly competitive) activity, called 'The Haggle', where our staff completed a series of short 'food' themed challenges. Hosted at the Sydney Cooking Schools purpose-built kitchen in Neutral Bay, teams raced to complete the challenging tasks. The winners of the first round of challenges collected a Coles gift card, and the losing team received a card with a more moderate amount.

Discover Deckshield at Outlook 2019

Flowcrete Australia are proud to announce our attendance as an exhibitor at the upcoming Parking Australia Outlook Conference, running from 27-29^th November 2019 at the Crown Melbourne.

The team from Flowcrete Australia will be on stand 21 talking to leaders in the Australian Parking Industry about our proven Deckshield Deck Coating range.  Every deck is different and our tried and tested, low VOC deck coatings are designed to perform in a range of parking structure designs.

Green Tick of Approval for Flowcrete Floors

Flowcrete Australia have worked with local testing organisations to ensure that the key range of Epoxy, Polyurethane and Methyl Methacrylate resin flooring products are certified to meet local Australian green-building standards.  

The greater emphasis on the environment and green-building practices is helping to educate manufacturers and consumers on the green credentials of their products, services and facilities. The name used when discussing environmentally friendly design and construction in Australia is The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and the Green Star rating system. 

Flowcrete Australia Opens New Sydney Facility

The resin flooring manufacturer Flowcrete Australia’s New South Wales team has moved to a larger facility in order to meet a growing demand for its products.

Flowcrete Australia, which started operating from the new premises in February, chose the site as it enabled the growing business to increase its stock levels and ensure that it would be able to meet its customers’ supply requirements.

Flowcrete Australia Supply Cream of the Crop Flooring for Bannister Downs Dairy

For the award-winning creamery, Bannister Downs Dairy chose Flowfresh SR from Flowcrete Australia to provide 2,350 m² of hygienic and on-brand flooring.

Founded in 1924 by pioneers Edith and James Daubney, Bannister Downs Dairy Farm was named as such thanks to Edith’s maiden name Bannister. Passed down through the generations, the farm is now managed by the Daubney’s grandson and his family.

Flowcrete Joins the Independent Brewers Association

Flowcrete Australia has joined the Independent Brewers Association (IBA), which consists of companies involved in the Australian brewing industry’s supply chain.

The IBA is currently the only association working to advance the interests of the independent brewing industry, and is an important gateway for suppliers and government bodies to get information to decision makers within the brewing world.

How Artistic Flooring is Reflecting Architecture

Flowcrete is contributing to the latest interior design trend by providing artistic flooring that reflects the architecture of the host building.

Architecture can be described as an expression of cultural principles that have been manifested in a deliberate design, often using technological advancements pertinent to the time of the build. This is why the design of buildings appear to get more creative as technology advances, and why historic architecture is held in such high regard due to the sheer skill needed in the absence of these technologies.
